Extreme and Adrenaline Sports in Bratislava

There are many possibilities for adrenaline and extreme sports in and around Bratislava.

Paintball

There are a few paintball areas available in Bratislava. There is an old building for paintball and also an open air paintball playing field. Guns can be rented on the spot, the ammunition is also provided.

Airsoft

Airsoft is a more military oriented adrenaline sport and uses replicas of real weapons as in contrast with paintball, where fictitious guns are used. Airsoft matches take place in certain areas of forests near Bratislava.

White water rafting and kayaking

Cunovo is a part of Bratislava situated just some 20 minutes from downtown and easily accessible by both public transportation and car. There is a Cunovo Water Sports Centre, where five man rafting and single kayaking disciplines are avaiable. The length of the rafting course is 380 meters. We can recommend reliable partner agencies who organise rafting trips and transport by private shuttle to the area and back.

Go karts and indoor karting

The indoor karting track (for go karts) is located just 15 minutes from the centre of Bratislava. Four drivers compete for about seven minutes in the karts. There are other tracks in the vicinity of the city.

Bowling

Not really an extreme or adrenaline sport, but still of interest to many tourists coming to Bratislava. There are two bowling tracks open to the public, both located in shopping malls - Aupark and Polus City Centre. Bowling shoes and balls are provided by the bowling centre staff. Be sure to book your bowling match in advance.

Bungee Jumping

There are no permanent bungee jumping services directly in Bratislava (though local stag providers sell bridge swinging as an alternative). Strbske Pleso in the High Tatras is a popular site and there are several in the Czech Republic.
